Casino Lobby Features

Designing premium gaming experiences that balance excitement, usability, and responsible gaming practices in high-engagement casino environments.

While these examples illustrate my contributions to past projects, they are original interpretations rather than precise reproductions, made to honor the intellectual property rights of the companies I previously worked for.
Casino Lobby On Devices

Project Overview

I was responsible for designing and enhancing key user-facing features. This included creating intuitive onboarding experiences for new users, developing a flexible design system to support branding across multiple casino titles, and to assist with quick design iterations on new feature requests. This included improving on navigation and search functionality. I also worked on user flows that guided players toward revisting incomplete games and unclaimed rewards. I also contributed to the visual design of game icon artwork, and helped implement secure, user-friendly authentication through passkey login.

Objectives

Enhance User Engagement & Retention
Design intuitive features like onboarding flows, reward retrieval, and game completion prompts to guide users, boost interaction, and increase return visits.
Strengthen Brand Flexibility
Adapt and customize the lobby UI to align with multiple casino brand identities, ensuring consistency while supporting unique visual themes.
Improve Navigation & Search Functionality
Refine the structure and discoverability of games through enhanced navigation patterns and an expanded, more user-friendly search experience.
Drive Security & Innovation
Implement modern authentication solutions like passkey login to offer users a more secure, seamless login experience across devices.

Design Process

1. Research & Dicovery
Conducted competitive analysis of existing casino lobbies and UX patterns. Explored business requirements alongide the business analysts.
2. Defining Requirements
Aligning with product managers and developers on business goals and technical constraints. Breaking down complex features (like onboarding, navigation, or rewards) into clear user stories and functional objectives.
3. Wireframing & Flow Mapping
Created low-fidelity wireframes and user flows for features such as onboarding, navigation updates, reward prompts, and search enhancements. Mapped out edge cases (e.g., incomplete games, failed logins, unclaimed rewards).
4. UI Design & Brand Adaptation
Design high-fidelity mockups using an existing design system or help evolve it with new patterns. Apply visual branding for multiple casino titles while maintaining structural consistency. Create and refine game icon art to align with branding and visual hierarchy.
5. Component Alignment (Storybook + Figma)
Ensure Figma components align with Storybook implementations for consistency. Document usage and behavior of components for both designers and developers.
